Lucy Hamer, MS, SHRM-SCP, SPHR

Lucy first joined our board several years ago, currently serving as our chapter’s President. She has previously held the following positions: VP of Professional Development and President Elect. Within her current professional role as HR Director for Children’s Home of Stockton her primary functions include Strategic Planning, Employee Engagement/Experience, Training & Development, Compliance, Employment Litigation, and Compensation. As such, it is no surprise that the aspect she enjoys most in HR is employee and organizational development. Her history with SJSHRM and her day-to-day make her the well-suited to lead our team!

Lucy has been in the HR profession for 15 years and holds her Masters in Management from Villanova University.
