SJSHRM has partnered with The Community Foundation of San Joaquin (CFOSJ) in the endeavor to help San Joaquin Valley students pursue their educational goals. We have been raising money for scholarships for graduating high school Seniors in the San Joaquin County for over 10 years and this year the San Joaquin SHRM Scholarship is providing three scholarships of $2,000 each. This scholarship will be awarded to each recipient one time only.
Eligibility
Before proceeding, please make sure you meet all the requirements.
Applicants must…
- Be a high school senior at any school in San Joaquin County
- Pursue an undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related major with an interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources Management
- Have a minimum 3.8 GPA
- Provide a letter of recommendation from a teacher, faculty member, or school counselor
- Demonstrate significant volunteer experience in San Joaquin County
- Provide an essay on why you plan to pursue a degree in Business Administration or related major as it relates to your career ambitions in Human Resource Management
